Kezzler’s Director of Sales & Delivery in India, Prasanna Sukhi, addressed The Second Packaging Design, Innovation and Technology Conference (PDIT2) today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, setting out the ‘Role of Active Packaging in Save Food and Safe Food’.
Safe and Sustainable Products to Consumers
Sukhi highlighted the importance of ensuring food safety standards in a world where global supply chains are becoming increasingly complex and at risk of counterfeiting.
“There is no doubt that there is an increasing demand for brands by consumers, to be more transparent about the origin and production of their products. Consumers want full visibility from ingredients through to consumption of every item they are purchasing, and the reality is, in the not too distant future, if this is a service not offered, brands are at risk of losing their loyal clientele” he stated.
Sukhi presented a case study of Kezzler’s work with FrieslandCampina, which was announced in September of this year. Since the announcement FrieslandCampina has stated that it plans to roll out Kezzler’s serialization technology in an additional 25 markets.

Sukhi demonstrated how the TrackEasy solution provided parents with the full journey of their FRISO formula milk.
“You simply scan the QR code on the bottom of each tin and immediately receive access to the full grass-to-glass journey from your milks collection at the farm in the Netherlands, to its arrival in your own country. TrackEasy also provides more extensive information on the product, such as; the items packaging date, quality checks carried out, maps and 360 degrees map views of each FRISO farm, real-time information on weather, temperature and recent farm and health check audits” he explained.
Kezzler’s Continued Growth in Asia
2019 has been a huge year for Kezzler in Asia, with the company recently announcing the appointment of Pengfei Zhang as Director of Pre-sale and Delivery in their Singapore office. The move came just three-months after the company’s announcement of the opening of their first Beijing office.
Kezzler continues to work on some of the biggest agri-tech projects in the region, where they operate across the supply chain, from seed suppliers to fertiliser manufacturers. Sukhi noted that the company looks forward to growing its network by strengthening its Asian presence further over the coming months.
