In the first half of 2025, we focused on delivering enhancements that improve our EPCIS repository, supporting simple and standing event queries as well as closing the gap towards EPCIS completeness. We have done a major upgrade under the hood of our technology stack linked to our customer facing interfaces. We have also worked on many customer related suggestions and minor enhancements in both our dashboarding features, reports and in our general business user experiences.
Let’s dive into the highlights:
Upgrade of Kezzler Admin
We’ve upgraded our platform to the latest technology stack behind the scenes. While it’s mostly under the hood, users will notice some real improvements to their experience now and going forward.
- Faster load times: Pages now load quicker and transitions feel more responsive, even in complex workflows.
- Improved UI transitions: Animations and interactions now feel more natural and polished across the platform.
- Accessibility enhancements: We’ve taken steps to improve compatibility with assistive technologies, making the platform more inclusive.
Easier bulk uploads with enhanced format support
One improvement in this version is that bulk uploads are now faster and more flexible than ever.
You can now:
- Upload in Excel and JSON, with full support for special characters
- Bulk upload batches from all supported formats
These updates are designed to streamline your workflows and make data management more efficient.
Save your favorite filters for faster access
One of our most requested features is now available in the Kezzler platform. You can now save filters as favorites, making it easier than ever to tailor lists and streamline your workflow. Create a filter once, save it, and reuse it anytime — perfect for quick access and downloading exactly what you need.
Report improvements
We have a new report under view batch and the events tab. This report is downloadable to excel and gives all events connected to the batch you are viewing in a formatted report with the most important data points.
We’ve enhanced our reporting capabilities by evolving the Traceability Report into a true Batch Lineage Report. While the original report provided a one-step-up/one-step-down view in the value chain, the new batch lineage report offers a complete, end-to-end overview of a batch from origin through all transformations and transport events.
This gives you instant insight into what turned into what, and where it went, enabling faster, more informed decisions across your operations.
Filters in Async queue
We have now added filters in the Async queue. The Async queue lets users see requests that are sent to our platform and queued for processing. The new feature has a filter on various parameters in addition to a quick filter for failures. This allows users to quickly identify potential issues with requests sent to the queue.
Laying the groundwork for Widgets
We’ve been working behind the scenes to prepare for the launch of widgets, a major step forward in how users visualize and interact with data. Widgets will replace current visualizations and offer a simpler, more intuitive way to build dashboards.
They’ll also allow users to customize parts of Kezzler Admin, embedding relevant, real-time insights directly into views like event or batch lists, making data more actionable and the interface more tailored to each user’s needs. We expect to be able to launch widgets in the second half of this year.
Support for global fallback based on language
In Kezzler Target, our redirection engine now supports rules for global fallback based on language. This means that if a qr scan falls outside of a specific rule and market, we can give a global fallback, but tailored towards specific languages.
UI enhancements for a smoother experience
We’ve also made several UI improvements to support your daily workflows. These include more intuitive date pickers and additional links between key elements, making it easier to navigate and complete typical business processes with fewer clicks.
These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to improving the Kezzler platform, ensuring it continues to meet customers evolving needs, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements. We welcome users’ feedback as we continue to innovate and deliver even greater value.
