FSMA 204, the FDA’s Food Traceability Final Rule, requires food and beverage businesses to produce complete traceability records within 24 hours of an FDA request.
With the extension agreed on in 2025, companies need to comply by July 20, 2028. While it’s easy to read that as breathing room, most businesses will need every month of it to actually get ready.
This e-Book looks at what compliance means in practice — the KDEs, CTEs, and TLCs auditors expect to see, and how brands can turn traceability into stronger supplier relationships, faster recalls, and greater consumer trust.
