Kezzler host panel discussion at AIPIA World Congress in Amsterdam

Joined by Accenture and GS1, we discussed digital product passports, traceability technology, and sustainable value chains

Kezzler participated in the Active & Intelligent Packaging Industry Association World Congress in Amsterdam from November 14-15 2022

The AIPIA agenda includes discussions on smart packaging, bringing together industry stakeholders from the entire packaging ecosystem. One critical angle of smart packaging is enabling product digitization and labeling. Kezzler’s traceability platform allows integration with a variety of production environments to enable the printing and activation of unique digital product IDs.

Traceability technology underpins smart packaging, providing the potential for visibility and insight, which is key to the creation of sustainable value chains.

Along with leading consultancy Accenture and global standards organization GS1, Kezzler took part in a panel discussion, “How digital product passports and traceability technology power sustainable value chains” to share knowledge and experience around:

  • Digital product passports and how the DPP in the European Union will affect global business across sectors and categories
  • Traceability technology as an enabler of DPPs and what factors to consider in choosing a traceability platform
  • The importance of interoperability and technology standards in adopting traceability
  • The benefits of end-to-end traceability in creating sustainable value chains
