Business Development Representative – F&B

Position Overview

As a Business Development Representative on our Food & Beverage team, you will be the frontline in creating opportunities for Kezzler. Your role is crucial in identifying, qualifying and nurturing leads to fuel our sales pipeline, working closely with the Enterprise Account Executives and partner managers to ensure seamless transition of opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

→ Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the food and beverage sectors globally, focusing on solutions for regulatory requirements, including FSMA 204.

→ Conduct market analysis to become proficient in the needs of the target sector, the operating environment, the competitive landscape, and industry trends.

→ Engage in strategic outbound prospecting via email and social channels to create initial interest and set meetings for the sales team.

→ Support events by creating target lists, managing invitations and follow-ups, and logistical or organizational work as required.

→ Maintain and nurture leads through systematic follow up, providing additional information and value to keep Kezzler top of mind until they are ready to engage in a buying conversation.

→ Work closely with the marketing and sales engineering teams to ensure alignment in strategies and messaging.

→ Diligently log all activity and keep Salesforce CRM updated with the most recent and accurate data.

→ Provide insights into market feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of our go-to-market strategy.

→ Assist in the preparation and follow-up of proposals, RFP responses, and other sales-related documents as needed.

Qualifications

→ Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

→ Minimum of one year of experience in enterprise sales, ideally in technology.

→ Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

→ Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt.

→ Must be a Norwegian citizen or hold a valid work permit.

→ Fluent in English is required as it is our working language. Fluency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage, but speaking Norwegian is not a requirement.

→ Ability to travel internationally as required.
