Many brand owners have field based staff whose role is to ensure that their sales and distribution channels do not contain unauthorised product. To assist this process, Kezzler has developed a mobile phone application ‘Konrad’.
Konrad enables the user to verify large numbers of serialized product rapidly using a standard Bluetooth 2D Barcode reader and a mobile phone. After scanning, the codes are automatically sent by mobile internet or SMS.
Once verified the response will outline the number of genuine serial numbers. Numbers that are not genuine will be highlighted to the investigator.
To gain the maximum benefit the product verifications can be incorporated into a surveillance program.
